Children's events

We run the following free drop-in events for young children:

  • Rhymetime Song session: Join us every Wednesday morning from 11-11:30am for songs, nursery rhymes and stories for babies and toddlers and their parents/carers.
  • Storytime-join us every Thursday for stories from 11-11:30am
  • The Club starting 7th March 2017. First Tuesday of the month 4-5pm. Different themes each month with puzzles and crafts and competitions.

Homework Club

Our specially trained helpers offer young people aged 9-16 ICT support with homework assignments. Students benefit from space to study, access to a wide selection of books, computer and photocopying facilities, free printing for up to 5 pages per child, help on safety online and supervised internet access.  The club is free and young people can drop in .

Knit and Stitch

Come and join our Knit and Stitch Group for knitting and sewing every Monday from 2:00 - 4:00pm.

The Ad Lib Club - A Social Group for the over 60s.

First Friday of every month 2.00pm - 3:30pm with invited speakers, tea and biscuits.

IT Taster Sessions.

Mondays from 10:00am-11:00am and 11:00am-12:00pm.

The food waste bags are now priced at £5.99 for 100.

You can now buy these from all Croydon Libraries.

Green waste bags

You can now buy these from all Croydon Libraries. We sell them for £1 each.

Our display boards are available for use free of charge to advertise your club or society.
