How to renew your library membership
Your library membership card is valid for two years. After that, we will ask you if you are still living at the same address, before renewing your card.
If at any time you move to a new address, you will need to show one official document with your current name and address on it eg driving licence, allowance book, bank statement.
What to do if you lose your library membership card
If you think you have lost your library membership card, contact us straightaway and we will cancel your card.
You are responsible for all the items taken out on your card. If you lose it, and someone else uses it to borrow items, you will be asked to pay for them if they are not returned.
To get another membership card, take one official document with your current name and address on it to any Croydon library eg driving licence, allowance book, council tax letter or bank statement.
You will be charged for the replacement card.
