Home library serviceWho can use the service?

The service is free and available to Croydon residents of all ages who are unable to visit their local library due to any disability and/or illness.

Whether you live in your own home, sheltered accommodation or residential care you can receive this service.

What kind of service is offered?

Large print

A member of staff will deliver a supply of books to your home every five weeks. Careful records are kept of readers' current likes and interests in order to help with the selection.

As well as ordinary print books, we supply the following:

  • Large print books
  • Talking books
  • DVDs
  • CDs

Other services, including reservations for library items and information are also available to members.
